A timeless and elegant Mid-Century Modern chaise lounge or recliner designed by Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret and Charlotte Perriand for Cassina. Marked on the frame ( signature and number ). The LC4 model chaise lounge is an iconic MCM design piece. The Corbusier chaise was designed in 1928 for the furnishing of a villa in the Ville d' Avray and was made famous since 1965 by Cassina.
The Corbusier LC4 offers a number of seating positions since the top frame is not attached to the base. The frame is made of polished chromed steel and the base / pedestal in black painted steel while the mattress of the chaise is crafted of high quality cowhide in black with a matching black leather headset.
